ACC welcomes two new church staff members
Arvada Covenant Church is pleased to welcome two new part-time staff members to our team.
Sheri Price joins us as the new Connections Director. Sheri will curate and activate our small group Bible study ministry. She will create, manage and execute aspects of Arvada Covenant Church that encourage discipleship for adults and lead adults into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. This includes discipling adults through our discipleship pathway and connecting guests to various serving ministries and classes.
Sheri is a licensed and commissioned minister of the gospel through the Wesleyan Church. She has over 17 years of pastoral staff experience in children, youth, women ministries, and community-based partnerships. She most recently served with a faith-based pregnancy care center in San Diego. Sheri and her husband, Joe, recently moved from San Diego back to the Denver area to be near family and friends.

Cheryl Meakins is the new Associate Director of Congregational Care. Cheryl will provide spiritual care, comfort, and support to members and friends of Arvada Covenant Church who are hospitalized or in need of pastoral care presence. The Associate Director of Congregational Care is an extension of the caring ministry of ACC and provides a ministry of presence, listening, prayer, and support. Cheryl will primarily, but not exclusively, connect with those residing at Covenant Living.
Cheryl is in her last year of seminary at North Park Theological Seminary working toward a Master of Divinity. She has completed a certificate in Spiritual Direction. Cheryl has worked as an Occupational Therapist and as an Executive Director for a local nonprofit. She currently works as a Chaplain at Lutheran Medical Center and has served as a chaplain since pre-pandemic 2020. She has been a member of ACC for 18 years and served as a lay leader for most of that time.
