Our generosity helps other people see God at work in our world today.
Thank you for supporting ACC and all the ways our community of faith invests in the neighborhoods around us and around the planet.
You can make donations on Sunday mornings, drop a check in the mail, or make a one-time or recurring gift online. We welcome gifts of stock or other marketable securities. You choose whether you want the funds electronically withdrawn from your checking account or savings account or charged to your credit card. You can change your mind whenever you wish.
WHY GIVE?
According to God, a gift given with the proper attitude benefits the giver more than the receiver. As we grow in our journey of faith and our intimacy with our Lord Jesus, giving becomes a blessing in our lives. Scripture tells us that the giver benefits in a number of significant areas. For example:
Increase in Intimacy – For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21). When we give our gifts to the person of Jesus Christ, our hearts are automatically drawn to Him. Nothing in life can compare to entering into His joy and knowing Christ more intimately.
Increase in Character – Our heavenly Father wants us as His children to be conformed to the image of His Son. The character of Christ is that of an unselfish giver, and one of the key ways we become conformed to Christ is by regular giving.
Increase on Earth – “He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully” (2 Corinthians 9:6) Scripture clearly teaches that God’s blessings come in a variety of ways as we give. Why? So that we may give more and have our needs met at the same time!
“Remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive'” (Acts 20:35)
