FEATURED UPCOMING EVENTS

Casa Hogar Missions Trip
June 14-20, 2025

Arvada Covenant Church is incredibly excited to participate on a mission trip this June to Casa Hogar Palabra de Vida, a children’s home in Chihuahua, MX. ACC has a longstanding relationship with Palabra de Vida, and this year our students have the opportunity to pour out their love to the kids there and serve that community.

We will spend most of our time building relationships with the kids, playing, setting up a VBS-style experience for them, taking the kids to participate in several activities, and worshipping God with them. In addition, we will be serving the whole community at Palabra de Vida by working on their communal garden, cleaning, cooking communal meals, and worshiping God and praying together. This is a great experience for our students to immerse themselves in a new place and culture, and discover God and the Church in a new place. When our students serve, and love others, it creates incredible faith experiences that are shared in vulnerable community. We also encourage parents to participate on this mission trip alongside their students, however, that is not at all a requirement.

Covenant Cedars Middle School Camp

Middle School Camp at Covenant Cedars
June 24-July 4

Get ready for the best week of your summer at Covenant Cedars! This camp is all about having fun, making new friends, and growing closer to God. Surrounded by a supportive group of Christian peers, you’ll experience awesome worship times and learn about God in a way that connects with you.

This summer, our theme is “Prodigal.” In Luke’s gospel, we learn that no matter where we’ve been or what we’ve done, our Father is always ready to welcome us home. This is your chance to experience that love firsthand and dive into an unforgettable week of scripture, worship, and fellowship.

ACC Students Renew High School Retreat

Renew High School Retreat
July 17–19, 2025

Renew is a transformative retreat designed for high school students to step away from the distractions of everyday life, reconnect with God, and build deeper relationships with each other. Set against the backdrop of nature’s beauty, this retreat offers a chance to unplug, unwind, and experience the peace of God’s presence.

Throughout the weekend, students will engage in meaningful activities like prayer hikes, worship around the fire, and fun group activities—all aimed at sparking spiritual growth and connection. With guided reflections and quiet moments in nature, they will have the opportunity to reflect, pray, and simply be still in God’s creation.

As a highlight, students can also take an optional excursion to Estes Park. Our hope is that, through this time away from their busy routines, students will find rest, deepen their faith, and return home rejuvenated, with a fresh perspective on God’s presence in their lives.

PROGRAMMING DESIGNED FOR YOUTH FROM 6TH-12TH GRADE

WEDNESDAY NIGHT YOUTH GROUP
WEDNESDAY NIGHT YOUTH GROUP

For 6th-12 Graders
Wednesdays, 7-9 p.m.

During the school year we invite middle and high school students to our youth group experience in the youth room. We will play games, connect, and learn together.

To find the youth room, drive around the back of the building and enter through the lower west youth room doors. Check the calendar below for specifics about each week’s activities.

7TH AND 8TH GRADE CONFIRMATION

ACC has a long tradition of offering confirmation to our students. Confirmation is an important experience for students to dive deeper into scripture and build Godly community.

CLUB 56
CLUB 56

For 5th and 6th Graders
Sundays, 9-10 a.m.

We’ve created a brand new class for 5th and 6th graders called Club 56 that will meet every Sunday during the Worship Gathering!

In Club 56, we are creating connections between Scripture stories and how one event leads to the next (and why we need Jesus after all of it!). This class is intended to build strong relationships: both between students so they all know each other when they go into youth group together, and between students and adults, where they will be closely known throughout the church.

Our students in Club 56 will start the Worship Gathering with their parents (or sit on the rug at the front of the sanctuary) and will stay through the worship. After the sending, they will head down to their classroom for their lesson and time for building community. You can pick your Club 56 student up from room 112.

MIDDLE SCHOOL SUNDAY MORNING CLASS
MIDDLE SCHOOL SUNDAY MORNING CLASS

For 7th and 8th Graders
Sundays, 9-10 a.m.

On Sunday mornings, middle school students will sit with their families for the first part of the Worship Gathering starting at 9 a.m. They will then be sent out after the singing and will exit the back Sanctuary doors and make their way downstairs. The Middle School class functions as a traditional Sunday School class. We will be learning the Old Testament narrative and themes. Our confirmation students are also participating in this class. Middle schoolers should check in before service in the lobby at the Student Hub.

No Middle School Class on Feb. 16, March 16, March 30, and April 20.

SUNDAY MORNING COMMUNITY HOUR
SUNDAY MORNING COMMUNITY HOUR
For 6th-12th Graders
Sundays, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
February 2-April 6, 2025

Community Hour for students includes all 6th-12th graders and will take place in the Youth Room!

Our goal for this space is for students to connect with one another and adult leaders, and to interpret and look closer at the scriptures. Rather than just hearing a teaching, students will be invited to contemplate and articulate their own thoughts and feelings.

This will be a great opportunity for students to grow in their knowledge and interpretation of Scripture, and connection with students and adult leaders. We highly encourage both you and your students to get involved in Community Hour!
