As a licensed and commissioned minister of the gospel through the Wesleyan Church, I bring over 17 years of pastoral staff experience to ACC’s table with involvement in children, youth, women ministries, and community-based partnerships. My desire for helping others was extended in the community through my 10 years volunteering as a patient care specialist with a faith-based pregnancy care center in San Diego. This turned into a paid position as an assistant office manager which allowed me to further use my gifts as I trained, mentored and counseled new volunteers as well as young women coming to the clinic.
Last year, my husband, Joe, and I moved from San Diego back to the Denver area where we both grew up and still have family and friends. When not helping take care of one of our 5 grandchildren, you can find me enjoying friends, the mountains, wildflowers, and an occasional visit back to the Southern California beaches.
My role as the Connections Director at ACC allows me to continue to use my experience and skills to help move people closer to God, each other, and our community during this transitional period primarily through small groups and discipleship. If you would like help getting connected, whether you are new to ACC or a long-time member and are just feeling disconnected, contact me and we will help figure out the next step on your spiritual journey.
