My story:
As a licensed and commissioned Minister through the Wesleyan Church, I bring over 19 years of pastoral staff experience to ACC’s table with
involvement in children, youth, women's ministries, and community-based partnerships. My desire to help others experience God’s love and care extended in the community through my 10 years of volunteering as a patient care specialist with a faith-based pregnancy care center in San Diego. This turned into a paid position as an assistant office manager, which allowed me to continue using my gifts as I trained and mentored new volunteers while counseling young women coming to the clinic.
In June of 2021, Joe (my husband of 40 years) and I moved from San Diego back to the Denver area, where we both grew up and still have family and friends. We have three daughters & three sons-in-law. When not helping care for one of our seven grandchildren, you can find me enjoying family, friends, the mountains, wildflowers, traveling to new countries, and an occasional visit back to the Southern California beaches and Disney Parks.
My job:
My role as Connections Director at ACC allows me to continue to use my spiritual calling, experience, and skills to help move people closer to God, each other, and our community, primarily through small group connections and service opportunities.
