ACC STUDENTS

PROGRAMMING DESIGNED FOR YOUTH FROM 6TH-12TH GRADE

ACC Students is a place where middle and high school students can grow in their faith, have fun, and build lasting friendships. Through classes, Confirmation, weekly youth group, special events, retreats, mission trips, and service opportunities, students are invited to ask honest questions, discover who Jesus is, and learn what it looks like to follow Him together. Whether they're new to church or have grown up here, there's a place for every student to belong and take their next step in faith.

MIDDLE SCHOOL SUNDAY MORNING CONFIRMATION

For 6th, 7th and 8th Graders
Sundays, 10:45-11:45 a.m.
Fall Session: August 30-November 15 (No class October 11 or October 25 due to Faceplant)

Sunday morning Community Hour is designed for our middle schoolers to learn, laugh, and grow together. In this class, they will engage scripture thoughtfully and ask honest, hard questions about faith, deepen their personal relationship with Jesus alongside their peers, build intergenerational relationships with pastors and dedicated adult prayer partners, and mature and personalize their faith, moving from "the faith of their parents" to a faith of their own.

There are two paths to take: Confirmation or Community path.

  • Confirmation Track: Students commit to consistent attendance, the confirmation retreat, partnering with a prayer partner, and working on a faith portfolio. They will receive a Bible (6th/7th grader and new 8th graders) and journals, binders, and confirmation materials
  • Community Path: Students are welcome to drop into class whenever! They will receive a Bible (6th/7th graders)

The story of your life is unfolding right before you. Some days you might feel like a background extra and other days the main character. Ultimately, your life is part of a bigger story—one that God has been telling since the beginning of time. God wants to take you on an adventure only He could dream up. Your role is to trust Him and follow where He leads. The journey is long and in some places scary, but He is with you. The only question that remains: Will you join Him? Adventure awaits. Now is the time. Let’s see what God has in store for you!
