CURRENT SERIES: GOSPEL OF JOHN

So, what do you believe about Jesus? We all believe something about Him.
A.W. Tozer, a famous American pastor in the mid-1900s declared, “What comes into our minds when we think about Jesus is the most important thing about us.”

Whether we realize it or not, the reality is that our beliefs about Jesus impact every aspect of our lives, the inner peace within our souls and our future eternities.

At ACC for 15 weeks this fall we will journey through The Gospel of John while reflecting on a specific weekly question of belief to help us consider what we believe about Jesus. This is a great opportunity to wrestle with and renew your own belief about Jesus and to invite friends and family to do the same.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

What time is the Worship Gathering?

Our Sunday timing includes the following:

  • 9 a.m. Worship Gathering
  • 10:10 a.m. Coffee Connection in the Lobby
  • 10:30 a.m. Community Hour
    • Programming for kids and students
    • Two classes for adults
    • Small group opportunities for those not available during evenings.

We also offer a livestream on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m.

What should I wear?

We have a casual environment. There is no dress code when we get together; we just come as we are. Some wear shorts, while others wear suits. No matter your attire, God still is working in our lives and we invite you to join us.

What is Try3?

We believe you cannot fully experience all that ACC has to offer in one Sunday. Therefore, we invite all of our first-time guests to TRY 3. This simply means we ask you to give us 3 tries (3 visits) so you can fully experience all that ACC has to offer. Let us know which TRY you are on during our Sunday services using our online or in-person connect card (Fill out the form each time you come, you’ll answer different questions each time!). We will send you one email each week to help you learn more about us. All first-time guests receive a little gift from us to you!  Fill out the Form.

Where should I park?

We have plenty of free parking around our building, with several special “visitor” parking spots on the west side closest to the building. Once you get into the upstairs lobby there is a Welcome Desk where someone can help answer any of your questions.

Where do my kids go?

During the Worship Gathering, we offer programming for children from birth to 5th grade, staffed by loving people who know what it takes to keep kids engaged while teaching them age-appropriate Biblical lessons. Visit the ACC Kids page for more details.

What is your Worship Gathering like?

Worship is led by a band. The Worship Gathering is designed to be meaningful for multiple generations and invite those inside and outside of our community to experience the love of God. Our worship gatherings are stylistically modern while also including responsive readings, moments of reflection and updated hymn arrangements. We gravitate towards music that is singable, musically compelling and theologically rich.

How long is the Worship Gathering?

Our Worship Gatherings last approximately one hour and are followed by a time of connection over coffee, tea, and donuts in the lobby. A Community Hour follows, from 10:30-11:30 a.m.
