PANCAKES, PALM SUNDAY AND INSTALLATION CELEBRATION
April 2 9:00 - 11:00 am
Christ is alive and this changes everything! You and your family are invited to join us as we celebrate the most important event in history.
We will begin our Holy Week observances with a special Palm Sunday service when we celebrate Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Throughout the week, we will offer an interactive experience taking you on a personal journey with Christ on his way to the cross through art. On Maundy Thursday we will host an intergenerational hands-on experience focusing on Jesus’ last supper. A solemn Good Friday service will mark the final moments of Christ’s life on earth through scripture, story and music. Finally, on Easter Sunday we will join in a jubilant celebration of His resurrection! Scroll down for more details.
On Easter Sunday, we will meet at 9 and 10:30 a.m. The 9 a.m. service will be livestreamed.
We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before service. That will give you time to grab some coffee and find seats.
Of course! Children and youth are welcome to attend service with you.
The nursery will be available for infants and toddlers during both services.
A special Easter Party will be available for kids from preschool through 5th grade at the 10:30 a.m. service. There will be no student programming at either service.
Check in for all children birth to 5th grade is upstairs in the Kids Hallway. When you walk in the main doors take the hallway to your right. There are signs pointing you towards the iPads, where you will put in your phone number and add kids into their classrooms. If you are a first time guest or first time checking your kids in, someone will be by the iPads to create your account. Your child will get three name tags: one to wear, one to give to the teacher, and one to keep so we can match the security numbers on the tag to the right guardian during pick up after service. The nursery aged kids will stay upstairs while the preschool and elementary kids will follow the mountains down the stairs to the Launch Pad.
Have a question? Contact Children’s Ministry Director Kayleigh Leonard.
Feel free to wear whatever is most comfortable for you. Some people will have their “Easter best” on, but there’s no pressure to dress up. Come as you are. We can’t wait to meet you.
The Easter Sunday service should last around one hour. Worship at both of our services are identical and led by a band. The worship gathering is designed to be meaningful for multiple generations and invite those inside and outside of our community to experience the love of God.
We follow Jefferson County Public Health Guidelines. In the building, wearing masks is welcome but not required.
We maintain the back four rows in the sanctuary for those who want to socially distance.
On Easter Sunday, the 9:00 a.m. service will be livestreamed on our website.
