The Whole Christmas Story: Redemption 12-15-24, Pastor Brian Rhen
December 15, 2024
You’re invited to a family-friendly gathering on Christmas Eve at 3 p.m. or 5 p.m. We will sing carols, light candles, and hear the miraculous story of Christ’s birth.
Childcare will be available for ages three and younger. Cookies and hot chocolate will be available in the lobby between the 3 p.m. and the 5 p.m. services.
On Christmas Eve, we will have identical services at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. The 3 p.m. service will be livestreamed.
We recommend that you arrive 20-30 minutes before service. That will give you time to get your family photo taken and find seats.
Of course! Children and youth are welcome to attend service with you. We will have a special activity for kids to complete during the message.
The nursery will be available for infants and toddlers (up to age 3) during both services.
Check in for all children birth to three years old is upstairs in the Kids Hallway. When you walk in the main doors, there are signs pointing you towards the iPads, where you will put in your phone number and add kids into their classrooms. If you are a first-time guest or its your first time checking your kids in, someone will be by the iPads to create your account. You will receive one name tag and one security tag. The security tag matches the number on their name tag, which is how we will match you up to your child when you come to pick them up from their respective classrooms. When you set up your account, we will ask for basic information including: name, address, phone number, and birthdate of your child in case of emergency!
Have a question? Contact Children’s Pastor Kayleigh Leonard.
Feel free to wear whatever is most comfortable for you. Some people will have their “Christmas best” on, but there’s no pressure to dress up. Come as you are. We can’t wait to meet you.
The Christmas Eve service should last around one hour. Worship at both of our services are identical and led by a band. The worship gathering is designed to be meaningful for multiple generations and invite those inside and outside of our community to experience the love of God and the wonder of the Christmas story. We will close out the evening by lighting candles and singing Silent Night.
On Christmas Eve, the 3 p.m. service will be livestreamed on our website.
We are part of the Evangelical Covenant Church. The Evangelical Covenant Church is a rapidly growing multiethnic denomination in the United States and Canada with ministries on five continents of the world. Founded in 1885 by Swedish immigrants, the ECC values the Bible as the word of God, the gift of God’s grace and ever-deepening spiritual life that comes through a faith with Jesus Christ, the importance of extending God’s love and compassion to a hurting world, and the strength that comes from unity within diversity.
We offer many opportunities to engage, for kids, students, and adults. We also offer service opportunities at ACC, in Arvada, and globally.
We believe you cannot fully experience all that ACC has to offer in one Sunday. Therefore, we invite all of our first-time guests to TRY 3. This simply means we ask you to give us 3 tries (3 visits) so you can fully experience all that ACC has to offer. Let us know which TRY you are on during our Sunday services using our online or in-person connect card (Fill out the form each time you come, you’ll answer different questions each time!). We will send you one email each week to help you learn more about us. All first-time guests receive a little gift from us to you! Fill out the Form.
