Our New Worship Arts Director, 9/30/21

Matt has been married to Jessica for 21 years and they have two children. Audrey is a Junior at CU Denver and Ally just started her sophomore year in high school. Matt is a licensed minister with the Evangelical Covenant Church and has spent the past 19+ years leading worship as a vocation in Covenant churches in Oregon, Michigan, and Colorado. He values music that is singable, theologically rich, and thematic. Matt is pastoral in how he crafts a worship experience and is able to lead worship from both the piano and guitar. His role at ACC will include leading and cultivating a worshipping community, creating sacred space alongside other artists and designers, equipping volunteers, and managing our audio needs and equipment. When Matt isn’t working, he can be found in the woods, going to live concerts and updating his music library.

One thing that drew Matt to interview at ACC is the wide age range of people who attend and that we are a mission-oriented church. He will begin his duties at ACC on Monday, September 27.
