TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE TRAINING

Many kids undergo trauma throughout their lives. This trauma influences their brains, how they function, how they interact with peers and adults, and even changes the way they make decisions.

Trauma-Informed Care training has been happening in our school systems for a long time as a way to teach teachers how to care best for our kids. We, as volunteers and teachers for our kids in the church, want to do the same. Two leaders within our congregation are trained in this area and they will teach us how we can best help our kids. This is an open invitation to all volunteers in our Next Gen Ministries and any parent who is interested. Childcare will be provided.
