Fam Jam Day Four
On the last day of Fam Jam 2025, our attention turned globally. We learned about our responsibility to use our hands, feet, and resources to take care of the whole world. We talked about different ways the church is helping worldwide, from global feeding programs, to medical care, to well drilling, to disaster recovery. Each family was given a set amount of fake money (stickers) to allocate to the causes they care about, and we discussed how our contributions can go further when we band together with others to help.
We then sampled breads from around the world and located their countries of origin on a globe. Finally, we examined various depictions of Jesus from different cultures and drew our own depictions of Jesus.
What a wonderful week of learning, friendship, and fun! Thank you to every family who attended and to all the volunteers who made it happen.
