Final Lead Pastor Search Committee Update, 2/21/23
It is with great pleasure to announce the calling, and the affirmation of that call, of Brian Rhen and Jodi Moore for Co-Lead Pastors for Arvada Covenant Church! It was an overwhelming (98.5%) unifying vote to affirm the calling. Many prayers, time, work, but most importantly listening to the Holy Spirit, that went into this process. We are grateful.
As we look to the future, please remember to pray for the transition as Jodi adjusts to Brian coming and for Brian and his family as they move from California to Colorado. Lots of transition for them both and we pray for unity for our pastors as they begin to learn to work together. We also ask prayer for Peninsula Covenant Church (Redwood City, CA), the church that Brian is leaving. They will miss him greatly as they are in the midst of searching for a new lead pastor.
Last, we look forward to the installation of Jodi and Brian on Sunday, April 2, 2023. We will be celebrating Palm Sunday in addition to celebrating Brian and Jodi’s official start together as Co-Lead Pastors! Check the bulletin and website in the near future for more details and please plan on joining us for this time of celebration.
