Lead Pastor Search Committee Update, 10/6/22
Kinsey Ringenberg shared a devotion based on the book of Nehemiah. She pointed out that there are parallels between the challenges faced in rebuilding the wall in Jerusalem and the work of rebuilding what feels like has been torn down here at ACC. The work of rebuilding required both preparation and prayer as they faced opposition in the process.
The search committee has narrowed down the applicants that we want to bring back for a second interview. We worked on second interview questions for each applicant and we hope to be able to schedule the second interviews next week. Kinsey reminded us to pray the words of scripture as we pray for unity and wisdom. “Then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.” Philippians 2:2. We invite you to pray this prayer with us as we continue to ask for the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
