Lead Pastor Search Committee Update, 5/23/22
The Lead Pastor Search Committee (LPSC) began the meeting in fellowship over dinner together in order to get to know one another better. We feel it’s important that our team not only know one another but trust and begin to “gel” together. Before we started the business portion of the meeting, Kinsey Ringenberg lead us in a devotional. Officers were established as the following people stepped forward: Kinsey Ringenberg, Chair; Jerry Reier, Vice-Chair; and Barbara Rodriguez, Secretary. We discussed updating our Church Profile and writing the Lead Pastor Job Description. Team members volunteered to take portions of each project and share their thoughts in preparation for completing the projects together as a team. Other tasks such as blog updates, room reservations, future devotions, etc. were also assigned. We closed the meeting with corporate prayer. The LPSC is grateful for the time and devotion that the LPSC Prayer Team has volunteered in order to pray for our team when we meet. We ask our entire congregation to be united in praying for the Holy Spirit’s wisdom and discernment in this process.
