Many of us share these concerns. ACC Crescendo is sponsoring a workshop on end-of-life issues. With experts to guide us on this topic, the goal is for participants to have plans in place.  We encourage you to invite a friend!

About Kimberly: Kimberly Wenger serves as the Area Vice President of Gateway Hospice. She is unwaveringly dedicated to helping educate families on the final stages of life and understand the services that are available to them and their loved one. Kimberly has worked within the homecare, healthcare and hospice market for the last 15 years. Kimberly is a mom of three all of whom attend/ attended Faith Christian High School.  A graduate of Colorado Christian University, Kimberly and her husband Scott have deep roots in the Arvada area. Kimberly considers it a great privilege walking alongside families and honoring the legacy of their loved one.

About Jill: Jill Ross is the Admissions & Marketing Director for Springwood Retirement Campus in Arvada. Over 35 years ago, her passion was ignited for helping seniors when she was a live in caregiver for her grandparents. Jill started at Springwood in 2018 after careers in risk management, the funeral industry and, prior to Springwood, Covenant Village of Colorado. Since 2016 Jill has served on the board of the non-profit, Funeral Consumer Society of Colorado, helping the public understand the funeral industry and their consumer rights. Jill’s personal ministry is to encourage everyone to have these important life affirming conversations and plan for the reality of change that will impact us all.  Jill graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Social Sciences. She and her husband, Scott, live in Golden and have a blended family of six adult children and one spoiled rescue dog.

About Dan: Dan Melgren joined Covenant Trust as a Financial Services Representative in August of 2015. He serves clients in Colorado including Covenant Living of Colorado, as well as throughout Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, western Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming.

Dan graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in accounting and holds professional certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®). Before joining Covenant Trust, he served as the Director of Finance and Operations for the Pacific Southwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church, was the Director of Finance for Westminster College in Fulton, MO, served as CFO for the City of Fulton, MO, and was also a partner in a small accounting firm in Kansas.

As a child, Dan’s family served as Covenant missionaries in Taiwan. Dan and his wife Kaye also served two years as short-term missionaries to Zaire, where they supported the missionary staff. Together, they have two grown sons and reside in Kansas City area.

About Preston: Preston has been practicing law since 1998 and opened his private practice, Branaugh Law Offices, P.C. in 2002. Outside of the office, Preston presents seminars on estate planning to various church, assisted living, and financial services communities. He has also presented non-profit seminars for continuing legal education. Preston volunteers with Gideons International, the 9Health Fair, and the Justice and Mercy Legal Aid Clinic. He is an Arvada native, die-hard Broncos fan, and in his free time he actively supports local arts, community and civic events with his wife, Jessica, and two adult daughters.

About Jodi: Jodi was born and raised in Minnesota.  She was introduced to Christ at a young age and accepted Jesus as her personal Savior around the age of 10.  She attended Covenant Bible College and the University of Northwestern (MN), graduating in 2000 with a Christian Education degree. She served as a youth pastor in MN and Cairo, Egypt before attending North Park Theological Seminary, graduating in 2006.  From 2006 until joining the ACC staff in 2020, she served as a lead pastor and associate pastor in Nebraska.  She  married her  husband Ben in December 2007.  They have  two girls, Elaina and Allie.

As Executive Pastor, Jodi oversese the church’s operations, finances, administration, and human resources.  In addition, she assists with strategic planning to achieve ACC’s mission and vision.
