Support Groups and Counseling
Lois Erickson is our Director of Counseling. She is an R.N. and received her Masters degree in Counseling from Denver Seminary.Lois maintains a private practice here at the church office. She specializes in adults, marriage and family therapy. Call the church office to make an appointment. Lois is also available to refer you to a Christian counselor for therapy.
Arvada Covenant Church seeks to integrate spiritual truths with sound psychological principles. Our goal is to bring people into a healing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Divorce Recovery Workshop

$20 per adult participant (includes cost of book). Payment due at first session.
The pain of divorce is all too common in our society. "In a society that has a pill or a prescription for almost everything, very little is available to help the person struggling through the hurricane of divorce. The Support Group Ministry of Arvada Covenant is sponsoring this group to help those facing the trauma of divorce. WHile each individual must face his or her issues independently, hearing knowledgeble speakers using the book. "The Divorce Recovery Handbook" and interacting with others helps ease the pain and stress.
The 7-session seminar is designed to provide people with a caring Christian atmosphere. Doug Hansen and Jennie Dreger will facilitate this group.
