Prayer and Support Groups
Real life is tough and we need each other. Jesus taught us to pray for one another and support one another. Throughout the year there are support groups for those of us who are experiencing separation and divorce (Divorce Care), those who are affected by addiction (A 12 Step Spiritual Journey), and those walking through grief and loss (Grief Share). New groups will be forming each year in September and January.
Prayer is conversation with God and it matters. When we pray we grow in faith and can see God at work. Click below to submit a prayer request or sign-up for the email prayer chain. Any prayer requests or praises not marked confidential will be recorded daily on our prayer line voice mailbox which can be accessed by calling (303) 420-1320.

It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.

We currently do not have a Divorce Care group meeting.
You don’t have to go through it alone. Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before. DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. During the first 30-40 minutes of the meeting, each DivorceCare group watches a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce and recovery subjects. After viewing the video, DivorceCare group participants spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in the lives of group members.

Recovery/12 Step Support Group
Recovery meets Monday nights at 6 pm at ACC
We all face addictions and hooks that trap us and steal life from us. This group helps people talk about and find hope in the midst of these addictions. As we share our stories, talk about our struggle, and ask God to help us together we find healing and freedom. Childcare is provided. Email Robbie for more information: HERE

Mending the Soul Support Group
We currently do not have a Mending the Soul group meeting
Mending the Soul is a group for those who have faced abuse in their life. In a sensitive and artistic manner the group seeks to guide each participant in the critical process of integrating one’s history of pain with the present. This allows each one to find his or her redemptive story. The group doesn’t direct survivors but, instead, empower participants to “own” their story and voice as they self-select the exercises they feel ready to complete and share. The group is led by trained and licensed care givers.
Please email the Mending the Soul team for more information: email@example.com
Please call the church office to find out more about resources available to serve those needing a listening ear and a helpful heart.
