“Worship the Lord with gladness; come before Him with joyful songs” Psalm 100:2
What is worship… Worshipping God is central to the life of every believer. It is our mission at Arvada Covenant to exalt Jesus Christ in our music and lead our congregation in becoming people of worship as defined by scripture.
Drama team members are also involved in ministering to a variety of small groups both within and outside of Arvada Covenant.
Adult Worship Choir sings at the 9:00 service three Sundays a month during the normal school year, September through May.
- Membership is open to adults of all ages throughout the year
- There is no audition required
- Bring your friends!
- Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm
- Final brief rehearsal each Sunday at 8:20 am in the Choir Room
The Worship Choir usually prepares for two special musical presentations, one at Christmas and one in the spring; as well as helping to lead the congregation in worship on Sunday mornings.
The Arvada Covenant Worship Team is a vocal worship team with keyboard, guitar, drums, and bass and leads our 9:00 am Blended Worship time along with our Worship Choir.
Our Worship Band (acoustic guitar, electric guitar, drums, bass, keyboard, percussion) leads worship at our 10:45 am service along with a small group of vocalists.
Members of both groups serve on a rotating schedule. Interested in serving? Contact Mary Cunningham in the church office.
Soloists & Ensembles
Soloists, vocal and instrumental ensembles are encouraged to participate in various ways at Arvada Covenant: for preludes, offertories or special numbers for Sunday morning worship services, during special drama/musical productions and many other events. Instrumental ensembles are used periodically for services and musicals.
The drama team at Arvada Covenant continues to experience growth and new outreach opportunities. Short sketches and dramatic readings are often used in morning worship services. Drama Ministry combines forces with Music Ministry at special holiday times to present dramatic musicals. Full-length dramas or plays are scheduled on a periodic basis.
Past productions at ACC include:
“Bethlehem’s Big Night”(2014)
“Four Tickets to Christmas”(2013)
“I’ll Be Home For Christmas”(2012)
“A Time for Christmas”(2011)
“One Bethlehem Night” (2010)
